DUI and Drunk Driving Charges

Drinking and driving charges are serious offenses in any state. In Tennessee the penalties are especially harsh. For even a first offense, you must spend at least 48 hours in jail and can be sentenced to up to one year in jail, in addition to fines, probation, driving education courses and restrictions on your driver's license.
